I’ll be explaining how to produce Tom Brown flour/powder from scratch and how to make its grits today at Foodwiki.
Tom Brown is a cereal that is typically made for and eaten by infants, though adults can also eat it.
It mostly serves to wean infants.
Main Ingredients of Tom Brown:
*Yellow Corn
*Guinea maize
*groundnut (peanut)
*soy beans
*crayfish
*ginger
*cloves
Many people think it makes them fat or makes them gain weight. However, in my opinion, it relies on the makeup of your body.
So let’s start.
INGREDIENTS IN DETAILS
*6 cups of yellow corn
* 6 cupsof groundnuts
*6 cups of Guinea corn
*7 cups of Soy beans
*7 cups of groundnuts
* a cup of crayfish
*1 handful of dried ginger
*1 handful of cloves
* A handful of Dates
BROWN, TOM PREPARATION
Pick any type of soil or stone you like out of the grains.
Keep in mind to wash and dry them separately.
Pack them into different bowls once they have all dried.
Wash the yellow corn, the soy beans, the groundnuts, the guinea corn, and the soya beans.
Fry each of them individually in a large frying pan.
Note: Avoid letting it burn while frying.
Spread it out after cooking, then let it cool.
cooked yellow corn
fried groundnuts, fried soy beans
Guinea maize that has been fried
Ginger, cloves, and crayfish were crushed using a mortar and pestle.
The dates should also be split in half, their seeds removed, and then crushed in the mortar.
After everything has cooled, pound the soy beans in a mill with a pestle so that the coatings or shaft fall off.

Blow it off and turn it into an appropriate basin after the coats are out.
peel-free soy beans
The groundnut can also be peeled, although it’s not necessary.
To the soy beans, add the groundnut and guinea corn.
Include guinea corn
the yellow corn is added
added groundnuts to a bowl of unpeeled soya
Crayfish, ginger, kayan kanshi, and crushed dates (dabino) should all be included.
Blend or take the mixture and put it through a mill to make flour.
Spread open after grinding and give it time to cool completely.
Before putting it in a container, sieve it, or simply store it and sieve it whenever you wish to make it.
