- Pizza it self
Pizza is an Italian dish prepared of flat, typically circular, baked bread that is frequently topped with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, or sauce made with tomatoes. Depending on the region, culture, or personal choice, additional toppings may be added. The dish, which has its roots in Italian cuisine, has gained popularity across the globe, but it has particularly taken off in the United States, where a variety of varieties have been created, pizza restaurant chains have flourished, and pizza is now available for both home delivery and as a frozen meal that can be baked at home.
Although it may seem like a lot of labor, making your own pizza dough is well worth the bragging rights. Only a few ingredients and a short amount of rising and resting time are needed for the dough itself. You can start preparing your tomato sauce, cutting up some fresh vegetables, or grating the cheese you’ll place on top while you wait for the dough to be done. Enjoy displaying your far superior dish than takeout after baking for 15 minutes, garnishing with basil (or, let’s be honest, more cheese).

*16 servings’ worth of ingredients
*2 cups of warm water
*1 cup sugar
*two teaspoons of dried active yeast
*7 cups of all-purpose flour plus additional for dusting
*6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, with additional amounts for frying
*1tablespoons kosher salt
*1 cup of semolina flour
PROCEDURES OF PIZZA DOUGH:
- Sprinkle the sugar and yeast in the heated water to “bloom” the yeast.
- Allow to sit for ten minutes or until surface bubbles appear.
- The flour and salt should be combined in a big bowl.
- The olive oil and mixture of bloomed yeast should be placed in the center well.
- Mix with a spoon until a shaggy dough starts to take shape.
- Turn the dough out onto a surface once the flour has mostly moistened
- As hot as your oven will go, between 450 and 500 F (230 and 260 C), preheat the oven.
- Place a cast iron pan, hefty baking sheet, or pizza stone in the oven
- making sure the surface is flat.
Make the tomato sauce in the interim:
- The tomatoes in the can can be blended with an immersion blender, transferred to a blender, or processed in a food processor until smooth.
- Take some of the dough once it has rested, and begin to poke it with your hands until bubbles start to form and stay in place.
Ready to bake the bake the pizza:
- After that, push and stretch the dough to form a thin circle.
- Due to the fact that it will slightly shrink and puff up when baking, make it thinner than you think it should be.
- Put some semolina on a vertical surface.
- Place the stretched crust onto an upside-down baking pan sprinkled with semolina.
- Add your preferred ingredients and sauce.
Pizza should be slid onto a heated pan or stone.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
- Any preferred garnish should be added.
